it's not that bad, have you heard of the da black edition with rubberized sides for better grip? or is it just that you don't like the grip or it's too heavy?

I just don't like anything about it :P I use a WMO and I'm testing an Intelli optical (at least I was when I had Internet :P) do yea it's probably the weight but the shape is pretty fucked up imo too :D

I presume you're using claw grip, am I right? claw grip ftw : P

Those cheap Microsoft mice are marvelous and while the most expensive of the trio, the IME3 doesn't suit my needs (prefer the mx518 instead of it), the other two, wmo and imo, are all top-notch.. and that for so little money : )

mechanical keyboards such as the steelseries 7g are naturally superior to simple cheap rubber dome keyboards, but the switches used in the 7g (black ones) are not the best for allround use, but for gaming (I think I would prefer brown or blue switches, which are said to be worse in terms of gaming, as they need less force to be pushed, would have to try them before purchasing though!).

I used to use simple duct tape as shown bellow instead of the 'steelseries cord holder' which is basically a nice-looking piece of metal (and afaik not sold anymore, razers armadillo 2 is nearly the same, except it is kind of expensive - this wasn't) holding the cord. very good for lans and if you swap your mice often, because it is very easy to adjust the cable as you would like it to be.

the acer tft I have right now isn't optimal too, the backlight bleeding is quite annoying in dark scenes in movies : /

if you can wait until then, wait for an oled screen with 120 hz (this > ips screen with 120 Hz) - it should hit the market in about two years, personally I couldn't be arsed anymore to wait until then..

yah OLED will be sick but its a bit far off, depends how much I make this summer, if I make enough probably just gonna pick up the best of whats out then, otherwise it'll be ~2 years probably lol

Yeah, it's alright for me, it's usually dark anyway when playing or watching a movie etc.. However it's pretty old already and probably nowhere near the performance of those fancy 120hz LCDs.

And as I said, I sold the Steelseries edition (101 Euro on ebay!) and instead of that I'm using my own custom edition http://www.upload.ee/image/735873/intelli11ue.jpg . Feels exactly the same (:

Ye I thought about it for a moment and I would have probably tested it, if I was still playing the game (or any game). But at the moment all my "gaming" stuff is at another place in some box.

I'm just having my small notebook and a wireless mouse here. No use for the energy sucking desktop PC (:

Well, it's at my mother's place. So when I got holidays, I might start up some games again on rainy days!
Also I might need it for some basic 3D modeling for a business plan workshop during the summer term. My laptop is probably not powerful enough :-(
