need spanish-speaker

I heard that Spanish language has some verbs of an English noun "luna", that sound like "lunasel" or "lunal", but I cant find correct spell.
I need to know how it spells in Spanish, to finish my paper about a novel originally written in Spanish.

If you know about it, besides I want to know that Spanish verb's present tense, and the past form.

Cheers
