Bischoff is stuck in the 90s - all over-exposed nostalgia wrestlers on big contracts. Shock factor every single week so it wears off. Impacts ratings have gone down the pan in the last 6 months and the PPVs even worse; why would anyone pay for the PPV when you see the same thing watered down on Impact?
Biggest problem is the total lack of youth movement ... TNA only has one good promising wrestler right now and that's AJ. It's taken WWE almost 5 years to realise they need to push some of their younger talent and now it's coming too thick and too fast so they need to sprinkle in big names in long feuds just to give the push some backing.
5 years from now and TNA will have gone under, mark my words!
Understand your points but I still think the tag team and female division is and always will be better in TNA. I still think that TNA has better wrestlers and their in game wrestling is more enjoyable, with different styles from AJ, RVD, Hardy to Angle and Joe.
Their ratings have gone down yeah but they're changing it again and bringing back the old ways and maybe even the 6 sided ring :)
Ring doesn't change the product, it's just a gimmick - like a lot of TNA.
AJ is good, RVD is good. Angle's career is RIFE with injuries and he won't be able to last much longer (see lack of TNA youth movement) and Hardy is a fucking train wreck. I'm actually shocked TNA picked him up (he has a history of heroin problems, he regularly turns up to live events stoned/high/fucked-up, but TNA won't let him go because they know he draws crowds - retarded).
Tag-team division is good in TNA, I agree, and WWE pretty much gave up on their tag-team division which baffles everyone, me included. Womens wrestling is shit, less of that the better.
The only thing that'll save TNA is getting rid of Vince Russo (look him up). He is the fucking death of that company.
The ring makes it different and shows its not trying to copy WWE, which is a good thing imo but yeah not that important.
Agree with your points apart from the fact that I think the future can be bright for TNA though, they have guys that can wrestle, guys that can get ratings, good divisions unlike WWE.. They're in a position now where they HAVE TO put the younger and original talent in the limelight with losing Nash and Booker and possibly (internet rumours) Sting to the WWE.
People said the same about WCW but they beat WWE in the ratings 2 years straight and competed with them for a couple more. The only problem I think is not so much the TNA product but more so, that WWE is so much more powerful than it was in the past.
I know who Vince Russo is, I've been watching wrestling on and off for 15 years :P

Russo is such a tool. I swear the worst thing that ever happened to pro wrestling was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeYW9zmuaew
It was an amazing segment but ever since Russo never sways, always putting gimmick promos ahead of wrestling, sigh.
watch MMA where people punch & kick each other for real,
not this shit with fake blows
