It's allowed as long as it doesn't interfere with ET's (or SLAC's) actual processes.
gonna give a try, my GR fps are 45-60...
looks nice (:
Most certainly gonna give it a try, thanks!

Well, you could also just kinda watch before you install any crap on your system. I mean, this guy has 71 processes and 54 services open, which is pretty much.

But yeah, all that does is kills down useless background processes and services and then starts them up again when you stop using the program. It sure helps if you have shitloads of crap on your computer.
75 processes and 96 services while playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 on laptop

fuck yeah

I've got 46 processes and apparently something like 55 services, two of which are PunkBuster -bullshit and the rest are Windows components, antivirus and drivers.

change punkbuster to start manualy, 24 processes here which of 10 is essential bundles

i can do the same with regedit / crapcleaner
worthless

i nlited my win xpx64 TWICE
fresh install has 14 processes 18 services
right now has 16processes 19services

did the same on win7x64 but i didnt like it that much because even though it was done to the bone and is stable the performance in comparison with xpx64 is gigantic huge

its like everything u do, happens in real time with no delays at all
I got no delay on win 7 default with a lot of stuff installed and running

Like a boss
