win7 - fps problem :/

yo crossfire,
since I installed windows 7 on my pc I got pretty "low" fps (around 76) before that I used to play with stable 125. Already updated my drivers etc, but it doesn't work. Has someone an idea why i got lower fps with win 7 or any idea how to get more fps? :/

Btw, system and config are still the same :/

antivir couldn't find anything
there aren't any programs in the background except those svchost.exes
which monitor settings? :P

i dno about monitor settings tbh, just a suggestions - i was thinking along the lines of digital vibrance etc..

what are ur specs?

da kommt das i-phone schon ran ehrlich mit dem sys ist win7 sinnlos. gute hardware dann is win 7 geilo auch für gaming!

yo ich hätte es mir ja auch nie drauf gehauen, aber hier in der gegend kriegst du nirgentwo mehr xp her und da mein pc an dem tag den geist aufgegeben hatte bzw nicht mehr starten ließ musste halt windows 7 her :p

check the installed / running programs, because win7 isn't a problem for low fps

basicly win 7 needs more memory what can result in lower fps and the graphic of win 7 is also better so it need more resources from your graphic card.

that already can be the reason for your shit fps :)

i had around 100 fps, set max to 76, but now my max fps are around 45-50 on gr :D

just use win XP if you dont have huge amount of ram/ new gfx.. you wont get anything new from win 7 if you got some old parts.

mach xp wieder. Hatte auch win7, totaler bullshit. Hatte auch lowfps etc, win7 ist halt nicht für gaming denk ich. Oder das spiel ist zu alt für win7 oder du brauchst uberhightreiber

24€ + paar euro versand fuer eine gott verdammte oem version is doch wohl ernsthaft net zu viel aber muss ehrlich sagen schon scheisse wenn man seine xp cd schrottet xD

es gibt doch sicherlich irgendein freund/bekannten oder sonst was der ne verdammte xp version auf cd rumfliegen hat. ist doch wohl das geringste problem so ein altes betriebssystem zu bekommen. desweiteren wenn du dein pc nicht ma mehr ordentlich starten konntest geb ich dir jetzt schon ma auffen weg, entweder kaufst du dir neue komponennten oder gleich nen ganz neuen und installierst da win 7 drauf weil sowas is nicht grundsätzlich ein verschulden des betriebssystem es kann auch sein das einfach was bei dir hardware technisch im arsch is.

gut das nicht ich die xp cd geschrottet habe :)
aber kaufen werde ich es mir trotzdem nicht, entweder ich ziehe es mir falls ich nen link finde oder ich leih mir die cd von nem kollegen :)
e:das es nicht mehr ging lag villt daran das ich mir nen dicken trojaner eingefangen hatte, es ging reibungslos bis ich antivir habe drüber laufen lassen danach neu gestartet habe :)

das ist mir klar, nur wurde mir schon beim letzen mal empfohlen als ich probleme mit meinem rechner hatte auf win 7 umzusteigen, aber das war ja dann wohl ein großer fehler :)

nur nen klitze kleiner ^^ zu mal man sich vorher auch ma bissl die anforderungen anschauen sollte bevor man etwas installiert, ist bei spielen nicht anders schaut man auch erst drauf ob es auf dem system von einem laufen würde oder nicht.
