he went into serious mode after EC where he was the last player to get a WC slot, started praccing like mad and won 2 Zotacs this months, you cant drop out with such shape unless everyone else has prepared the same(and cypher barely prepared, played like 2-3 days, was only top4 Asus after winning it every time for 3 years a week before WC, etc) so the result wasnt rly surprising if you know the quake scene
