999 issues

dear xfire,

as of late I am experiencing some 999 issues.
I'm only able to move sporadicly with a ping that goes between 600 and 999

however, I can see my teammates run around, shoot, selfkill... all no problem
when I am speccing them I have a normal ping (also: mIRC, teamspeak, msn,.. all work fine)

as you can imagine this is very frustrating and if someone had similar problems before, I would very much like to know the solution to this problem
