Day journal and stuff

Gday to everyone. Had to make something since I am quite bored at work and there is no action at Germany Hansooooes bd-journal.

I could google this, but I dont want to. What is the difference between irc-shell and bnc? I was about to buy a shell for myself, but then I realized that there is all kinds of random free bnc-thingies around. Bnc just for running irc or what?

Cant put this pic I want here :((( How do I get right mouse-click on touch-screen without a mouse? Anyway, it was about mustache, since I started to grow those.

with shell you can see channel messages when you are off, with bnc (usually) just queries.

'Shell' is just a remote Linux server that you have access to, sometimes by purchasing it. You connect to it via SSH, and many (or most) people run irssi, a console-based IRC-client, on their accounts, thus staying on IRC 24/7 without having to keep their own computer on all the time, and also being able to read the backlog conveniently unlike with bouncers.

Ye ye, I am familiar with shell, but my old got killed from school, so I need a new. And then I remembered that some people use bnc´s, wasnt sure what they do.

http://unikko.org provides good shells for Finnish users, costs something like 20e a year.

I was about to take one from kapsi, 30€/year, havent heard anything bad about them. Well, lets see what that unikko has to offer.
