Quite a while ago eujen made some sort of a tutorial where he explained one and another about spawntimes and how this inflicts decisionmaking of players ingame. The tutorial was a bit shit because he was joking around with some guy on comms and often lost track of what he was explaining. It was very messy.
However the idea was good and after years of playing I notice that a lot of players (on all levels) still don't understand the principles of decision-making/positioning/prediction etc. So for the last couple of months I have been thinking about making a website with streamed tutorials so i want to know if the community would like this idea.
TL;DR: Website with alot of "eujen"-like easy to understand streamed tutorials, explaing the principles of et to help both you and your friends gameplay to the next level. +advanced&expert tuts by topplayers.
my question: Would like that / don't care?

anyway nice idea and i support ur move , if u r motivated .
Tutorials like these are meant to reduce the time spent on learning and help people who want to get better or people who just wants knowledge. What is the most important thing in competitive ET(as a individual player)? Yes, "how to read the game"; understanding spawntimes(both) and acting based on this info + what u know otherwise(where are enemies, how many alive, what they are gonna do, other infos from voice...). Aka playing smart.
Still i dont believe that there is a better way than playing the game .
though: 'all rights reserved to eujen'
I can give you demos of how you can do it wrong :D
learning from mistakes is the best way to learn.
e: and someone make a tutorial how to hold down "shift+w" so people will move forward on spawn.
In poker trainingsites are frequent and prices start at 270$/year
Noone is willing to pay tho, if you do it its for community and maybe commercial incomes (wont be much, barely a public to reach)
But I noticed that the concept was way too large, and I tried to cover everything. Lost interest about middle of that project, but still finished it. Competitive part is ok, though I would do it better now. And that said, I am planning to do new tutorial, focusing only to competitive playing, trying to cover everything, starting from "what is ET, how to install ET&patch it, etpro, slac, cfg, tuning hardware and then ofc the playing itself, focusing a lot to how to read the game".
Thinking about differents recording methods, maybe CamStudio for "installing ET blablabla", and then cameras recording mouse, keyboard and monitor(depends how clearly the game is shown when recording monitor with external camera). Last time I used avidemo, it's ok, but might be nice to use external cameras to get some depth and one-to-one "coaching" -feeling lol ;)
After that I'm thinking to do very simple and clear ET website, where those tutorials can be found(also .pdf/.txt files to read). Maybe hosting them on some paid streams like Amazon S3. Might get extended later to different kind of ET related things/tutorials. Dunno. And ofc I'm gonna put Donate -button there too, if someone likes it, 5e is always welcome, but ofc it's totally free to use/read/view ;p
Let's co-operate?
Edit: did u watch it from Youtube or did u download the whole package? YT videos don't have .txt files that contains some information too ;) Also there are no any other txt files/even chapters, just videos.
