Made me laugh more than anything ever watched on telly (other than a documentary narcolepsy)

Its hilarious to watch a bloke with no worldly knowledge or experience, with such a simplistic view of the world. Devoid of all logic or rational thinking, visit these places around the world.

Well worth a watch



Also worth a watch is the Ricky Gervais show, for more shit seen from Karls amazing perspective.

the ricky gervais show is some highlights from the podcasts, but they are great to listen to before bed and stuff. You also get more of ricky and steve and not just karl.

yea its full of win and tbh if I was forced to face those conditions I'd react the same with karl in most of those situations.

well an idiot abroad isnt rly new (or did i miss a new season/episode?).
i really dislike it. a guy being naive, simple minded, ignorant and plain wrong about everything isnt funny but hurts to watch.
still i watched it to know what not to think.

Indeed, these people should get more respect, He is obviously taking the piss out of
their cultures and should severely be punished. This show should not of been aired.

Hanged, Drawn and Quartered imo.

The whole show is based on the fact he is an idiot. Which is funny to watch. Putting people in situations they have never experienced is good TV.

It's funny you say he is devoid of all logic and rational thinking. He's stubborn and often misinformed however I would argue his way of thinking is very rational and logical.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the series. It's nice to see someone able to voice their own honest opinions on things and not just like something because they are told they should.
