uTorrent effecting Google Chrome?

Im trying to download PES 2011, Im getting a decent speed, however, google chrome and nearly all other internet applications are basically not working. Google chrome seems to be the most effected.


Any ideas what the problem is?

Monitored task manager see what everything is running at?

Cap the download/upload speeds in your torrent client if it eats up all your bandwidth, silly.

Dont think so, the internet on my laptop in my kitchen works perfectly fine

uTorrent is great, I don't have those problems. I think its just sucking up your BW

Not sure why though, since the laptop in my sitting room runs fine. My inet is quite good, even when im streaming films I dont have this problem. After a bit of research it could be something to do with my ports, which I know absolutely nothing about.

just a small unrelated question since you use google chrome

does it sometimes crash when you go to your profile and then cilck on any other link on crossfire? mine crashes sometimes when i use google chrome on this computer and on my laptop

Not specifically on cf, but it does crash quite a bit
