mechanical keyboard?

So I don't really know a ton about the diff switches for mechanical keyboards, what would be the best to try first? Been using regular shitty keyboards forever, I want a nice one to use for a long time

i wouldnt go for clicky ones and get a black cherry switches based like SteelSeries 6G V2 for example
more expensive = better
buy a keyboard that has a good layout, i personally don't like big keyboards they take up too much space plus big mousepad? you will need really long arms!
depends

black switches = accurate and not so much noisy, very smooth
brown = bit more noisy, and you have the press the key halway to "activate" it
blue = very noisy, wich can feel very accurate if you prefer this more.

i myself got the steelseries 7G with black switches, its freaking aweseome, u can rly feel ur typing on quality and it just feels so much better than a normal one and you rly want to type on it or just use it :D

e: diff between the SS 7g and the 6Gv2 is that the 7g has a wrist pad and a hub integrated and a small backspage. 6g has a big backspace
All those switches activate half way trough the key stroke, the only difference is the key weighting and what feedback you get when you hit that halfway mark.
