Apple iPod touch 4th generation

hey!

I was thinking about buying a iPod touch 4th generation. Since i have a new bianchi racing bicycle, it's nice to have a FM radio when I am riding it.
I just noticed there is no FM radio in the ipod touch.. Is it still possible to listen to the radio when there is no internet connection?

It seems that the connection with the earphones to serve as satellite is not enough?
Are there other apps to solve this problem without paying for it?

But with that you will need another radio that will connect to the transmitters set frequency.

Without a net connection, nope, it's one of the major things lacking in iPod Touch/iPhone. The chip etc is there, but they just havent allowed an API for it to be activated by app developers or even Apple themselves.
