Switched to the newest Leedroid version done time ago, couldn't be arsed to restore most of my apps. I fucked up the backup.

Killing tasks fucks up your memory you wanted to save, it makes your phone slower, everything it wasn't supposed to.
You know why, because Android =/ Windows.

I don't think they die until they actually have to, but there is no reason to kill them before they have to anyways ^^
Open apps in the memory let's you reopen that app faster. It saves an image of that app, so more apps in the memory -> better for you.
Killing the app via task killer does not result in freeing that memory but in killing it.
It's like you're destroying the name tag on that memory, but the memory still has files saved, so instead of freeing the memory you're actually killing it (not all of it tho), and that memory is not useable until you restart your phone.
Android uses some criterias with which it automatically decides which app it wants to close incase there is not enough memory left for you to open another app.
Android is based on Linux, not Windows.
