hey
Ive got a question about screen in ET. Is there any possibility that my 16:9 screen will be looking like 4:3. I heard that my friend has done it but he didnt know how...I post a screen where there are 2 black lines at the sides of screen...how to do this?
I have it like that (4:3), i fiddeled with some monitor settings (on monitor) got to do with the monitor using the resolution u have on your screen - not automaticaly widening it.
weird, isnt it?
i know that this is the refreshrate (hz) of the screen.
thing is that for many people updating nvidia display drivers to a more recent version did mess up the "auto-fullscreen" that it used to have. surprisingly enough what i said does actually fix the problem eventho i wouldnt know why.
I'm not sure but I know on the ones I have used at college/some at CIC7 you could change it using the OSD. Not all monitors support it but some GPUs can 'mimic' this effect iirc. However it does increase input lag so I'd recommend using a 16:10 resolution if you have a 16:10 monitor.
that and nothing else and i wonder why there is a journal about this every 2 days.
75 is the "right" value
