I have it like that (4:3), i fiddeled with some monitor settings (on monitor) got to do with the monitor using the resolution u have on your screen - not automaticaly widening it.
Monitor settings? U mean Nvidia settings or hardware monitor settings?

r_displayrefresh 75

that and nothing else and i wonder why there is a journal about this every 2 days.
and how to fix it back, lol? i got this 2 black lines, and i wasnt typing any comands, it's just apeared by itself and i couldn't make it normal... ;x

by setting r_displayrefresh to 75 you make it "fullscreen".
75 is the "right" value

will try it soon, thx.

Are you trolling? Or just clueless?

are you talking jibberish? Or just in a way I cant understand?

Why on earth would changing the hz of a monitor change the aspect ratio?
Parent
weird, isnt it?
i know that this is the refreshrate (hz) of the screen.
thing is that for many people updating nvidia display drivers to a more recent version did mess up the "auto-fullscreen" that it used to have. surprisingly enough what i said does actually fix the problem eventho i wouldnt know why.

cg_drawgun 0 should fix this
/quit imo!
I'm not sure but I know on the ones I have used at college/some at CIC7 you could change it using the OSD. Not all monitors support it but some GPUs can 'mimic' this effect iirc. However it does increase input lag so I'd recommend using a 16:10 resolution if you have a 16:10 monitor.
its fucking 16:9 :/
hi Skarzee btw
