Germany was the only country where it was not forbidden to download pirated games but to upload them. But even germany changed their laws for that already...

anyway, it shouldnt be illegal, all people do is downloading a copy. its not that you steal a game from a fellow human. You just keep your money in your own pocket.

Some shitty organization is trying to force ISP's to publish their customer's data transfer histories. Dont think that will ever happen.

Not really. Only in public torrents where information is available. But in private torrents, they move servers all the time and the speed is 10x better.

All the "piracy" cases are with public torrents, not with the likes of Torrentleech, Bitsoup etc.

No its not, cuz on rapidshare you load from one server who is located in a company, but if you load by torrent, you load from many ppl and many ppl load from you. So you spread pirated software all over the internet which is forbidden anyway.

So it should be easy to figure out why torrent is so dangerous overall...

And yeah, i trust more into the millions of ip's at rapidshare as the fact that a fucking cop just need to download the same games as you via torrent, cuz he will get your ip there instantly :)

no, outgoing encryption is free and included in every decent client, you only need to pay for peerguardian and that's if you're really paranoid

I don't get what you mean by millions of ips, your ip is logged every time you dl something from rs which makes it even better cos they can just choose what they'd like to prosecute someone for and find tons of users that have downloaded it, it's really not that much complicated than seeing someone's ip in torrent client and last time I checked, they need a warrant to check your ip for both asking an IP from rs AND getting it from a tracker because they would first have to register at that tracker and then download files which is ILLEGAL and they are not allowed to perform illegal actions to obtain your details

I didnt say its crap, I said its not the best.
I already said that its not faster or wider than piratebay, so why bothering getting some private tracker while u can use a public one. chasing by police is bullshit tbh, maybe in germany but i dont think its that bad.
On the sites i use u have faster pre time, better support stuff, smaller and more hermetic community, some nice bonuses and competitions.

it is considerably faster than pb and it does offer more privacy, I'm a member of some pretty good trackers also but I can't really say pre-time is much better, usually counts in mins
