Format checklist

Going to install W7 x64 and have to backup all of my things quickly.

Things I have so far:

- Series, movies
- ET Folder
- Razer driver settings, mouse settings
- Bookmarks
- Passwords
- Mailserver settings (Outlook)
- Screenshot of my "All Programs" folder
- School/work-related documents

Anything I'm missing here?

your .nk2 file from outlook (adress cache) ... so you don't have to retype all email adresses after format

Why not create an image file of your current system or is this part of the reason why you need to format? ;_;

+1 and programs partition and 13 GB format for ma lasts 13 minutes : ))))))))))))))))))

Cause I'm installing some new components and that would mess up the drivers anyway. On top of that, I'm using XP atm.

Would be nice to create an image after everything is freshly installed tho :).

If you have a spare HDD somewhere just clone your hdd, then reinstall your pc & just hook up the other had to transfer all your data, ezbash

he will install another os ( xp to w7 ) and just save his files ( music, movies etc.. )

you didn't get it dit you, read my comment again, it's just a temp backup, when he reinstalls and sees something is missing, at least he'll have a place to get it back...

u can save ur programe list as text file with ccleaner, took 3s.
