If so, what is the last album you bought and why did you buy it?

But i also recently downloaded "Death Cab For Cutie - Codes & Keys" which i will consider purchasing once I've listened to it

I dont find a tenner a month worth it.
the ads dont bother me since they hardly ever get to play, and there are alot of albums i enjoy listening to that aren't on spotify.

The only upside for me would be mobile phone support, but i dont feel like that's worth the money

I pay only for gigs & merchandise. Some EP-purchases to support small bands, rarely though.

EDIT: Last normal album I bought was "Slipknot - Subliminal verses vol.3", 2004.
Bought few LPs, right they are called vinyls, after that, not to listen but just for random reasons like covers & legendary.

Don't really buy any music, I sometimes pick up a vinyl or two at a gig if there's some going but that's about it.
Usually support bands by going to the gigs and maybe purchasing some merch :Pp

Music CDs are clumsy, ugly, take up space if you actually want to keep them organized and it's much easier just to play the crap from your computer. On top of that they're expensive as dick.

I haven't bought any music since 2005 or so, but then again I don't actually listen to much music either. Most of my music players scrobble to last.fm and the last play there is from two months ago - I've also had a profile for three four! years and only have about 2000 plays.

Pretty much the same here. I found Jam to be a nice software for playing back chiptunes, so I use it for listening those.

I open them up pretty seldom, though. Music continuously playing in my headphones disturbs me.

stopped buying any music or movies the day i figured out i could just download them or stream them online.

Must have saved about £5k or sumin over the last 5 years by doing that.

I usually buy albums/EPs of upcoming or just simply awesome bands that need the support in my eyes. I tend to spend some more when I go to a gig.

Only buy stuff from local bands, as most of them are bros. I will also buy music if I cannot find illegal download man.
