crt display

as far i am aware crt is still the best display types for gaming so looking for

- 17" +
- 125hz (or someone to explain why i could use 80hz etc and which fps etc to use etc)
- crt
- something sony would be nice but not fussed
- price not to fussed about, so all suggestions are good (with links even better)

overdrive meight reply with your uber knowledge please :P

Afaik Iiyamas are the best if you want excellent crt with high herzes get an Iiyaman, dont know that much other way. There was once this article bout the 100hz/100fps/100max packets to get best feeling. But anything over 100fps/100hz (same preferred) is good. If u cant get Iiyama, Samsung's ur choice.

iiyama, there really is no other way for CRT :>

i just found a real nice samsung myself, 19inch:

1920x1440 @64Hz
1800x1440 @64Hz
1856x1392 @66Hz
1792x1344 @68Hz
1600x1200 @76Hz
1280x1024 @89Hz
1152x864 @104Hz
1024x768 @116Hz
800x600 @146Hz
640x480@160Hz

Samtron 98pdf (it's the same as the 997mb, but less expensive, same specs, same brand).

And mine was running @ 2048×1536 smoothly aswell.

something like samsung 959NF 19' with 1024x767 @ 120 Hz or 1280x1024 @ 100 Hz, perfect krystal steal picture.

hmm i traded my tft 17inch for a vision master pro 454:D
140hz @ r_mode7
but i ma play 120hz at r_mode 7

19inch crt btw

I had visionmaster 1454, 19". could only do 100hz in rmode6 but with some ati patch i could up it to 120hz. Paid 150€ for it about a year ago. Great monitor.
