Chat with who? Other xfire-users? Can't see point for that, though gaming is such a serious business for me, pros like me don't chat while playing.

well i dont play on publics too, i use it to chat with few e-friends who i like to play with, and people ask me to ring in wars through it

I think its pretty usefull - for instance i'm just chilling playing a single player game and someone asks me if i want to play a 5on5. Just pops up in the lower corner of my screen. but if you indeed have nobody to talk to its pretty useless.. :/

xfire also saves your gaming history so you can check how much you played the last week even tho thats pretty useless tbh

Ah, you use it with other games too. I just play ET with buddies, no pubbing etc.

It's pretty much the same as messenger but with this you can chat ingame, take screenshots, follow friends to a server and bunch of other cool features.
