sens calculator

resolution fov etc, how do u calculate to change the sense?

Ive had 2 change my resolution etc, but my sense just doesnt feel the same, ive been told about a calculation you can do :p

any help?

just randomly change the sens and check if it feels fine. It aint rocket science

change your resolution back to old one for a sec then...

Win7 has forced my resolution to 1440 x 900 , were in xp i used 1280 x 1024

Then keep chaning it till you feel comfortable with it.

Ye ive done that :P

Well, ive seen something like that before, and about 15 people have told me to use one. If you change resolution, it calculates the sensitivity from your old one to something similar, so it feels the same.

I always just take a ruler and make sure I must move my mouse the same amount to make for example a 180.

Alot actually, when you change resolution and r_mode, your sensitivity varies. So you have just been hung drawn and quartered. Next time you try to be smart, do some research before making an absolute twat out of yourself you dumb polak.

get a ruler dumbhead, just did it now with r_mode 4 and 1680x1050 and i only notice max 0,5 cm change

Still a difference. And clearly does have an effect, since when i change it, my sense moves at a completely different pace...

It feels different, but your sens is the same.

For example mouse movement @ fov 90 feels horrible but with the same sens at fov 110 it feels a lot nicer, however the sens is exactly the same.
