First of all I'd like to say that I wish Nordic Esports the best of luck in this Eurocup. I have played this game too long to be bothered about winning or losing, but losing in an unfair way still enrages me. This counts for everything I do, call me competitive if you want.
Second of all I'd like to say that these teams are exactly what is wrong with ET nowadays. Whining, flaming, insulting, refusing fair play; it's all very normal nowadays.
Yes this is coming from an ex Team-Edit player, but most people that were around during those times should remember I hardly flamed anyone like my teammates used to do.
So what happened? Very simple, during the first map of the qualifier I lagged out over 20 times for a duration of 2-3 seconds. I know this number because Potter apparently was very bored, and he counted it after hearing about it on vent.
Nordic were laughing about it, were making jokes about it, and were giving us a very hard time to switch server. In an ideal community the map would have just been replayed, I'm sure a team like Dignitas or TLR would get that chance, the other teams not so much it seems.
When the server did get switched, because one of the only two good EC admins ever (Lion ) came on the server, they whined about it and they kept on acting like kids on steroids.
In the end we lost the decider, but atleast it was a fair one. The outcome would have been different if we had switched server before the game started though. I remember asking Robaciek about this but he had already left the server, and Nordic just ignored the question and kept on spamming "GL IN PREMIER".
The conlusion is : I was at a take-away for lunch today, and as it happened a class of 12/13 year olds came in to order food aswell. Every single one of them was more mature than the average etplayer, and definitely more mature than Nordic.
Though the real conclusion is
Have a nice evening ;)

P.S polish = trash, why bother writing this
Most sincere GL in Premier though!
No one should get respect for anything he achieved in any game, except the real "godlike" players such as the quake duellers for example, who actually make something out of gaming.
Just a nice attitude is all I'm asking for, which is too much to ask from these guys.
Back on topic, i fully agree with you. experienced same kind of behaviour when players try to find ways to win by rules instead of moral. like this 15 min late thing, got on server like 17 mins late, ofc they wouldnt play us and they got the win. Now im not in the same skill level as you, but this still apply what ever skill or country your playing. This retard behaviour is spread like it was air born
but i still enjoy ET so.. and i wouldnt let some tard0s ruin that for me :d
Back in december 2007 we were FORCED to play a game with toxic on 200-250 ping (sometimes spiking to 350+, which is unplayable) compared to his usual 98-120. Not only very frustrating for him, also detrimental to the team and we lost a game that cost us some REAL dollars (many a tear was shed that day). Felt not so good. Of course the opponents attitude was fair enough (should have checked server from the start was their first comment) but seeing as server was fine until then (some internet cable to Malta broke or something random like that) it was really unforseeable. So it cost us the game, unluckily.
Not gonna comment on NE's behaviour as I didn't spec the game.
so your lag your problem
remember: don't feed the trolls.
: )
thinking like you is what creates the ppl we see so much more often. Yea what if everyone would mind their own bizz and not make a differences or stand up and say whats right and whats wrong. It was many years ago the humans lived in packs which always had atleast one leader, how much u turn it we still have that with us.. some ppl are born to leaders some are not. And we still need those leaders today, maybe not as much as way back in human history. Its like saying ADHD is an illness or calling it a diagnosis, those born with ADHD was the ones to hunt and defend the pack. Those who want to explore was the ones to find new places for the pack to live in (water, sleeping etc). Those who can endure longer times of concentration was for cooking, fishing guarding at night etc. Its not a coincidence ppl are so incredibly different.
I do not need to physically fight someone to prove my point and if I would go to those lengths then I am too stupid to realize that that person is not able to see my point of view on the matter. Some people just disagree.
If a person would start using these immature terms as the author of this journal depicts then I personally would not take the effort of going any further in such a discussion.
You can not force people to think the same way as you do, you can only try to influence them to.
We do not need "leaders", a human being (on average) has enough brain capacity to use logic to come to a conclusion that is right for the individual, not for the masses.
People should stop being sheep, we are getting buttraped by our own governments enough already, these being controlled by those "leaders" you speak of.
Power corrupts people.
I like to discuss matters of value to me but if I can not convince a person of my views I merely give up, the most beautiful thing in this world is that every person has a right to think for themselves and to act upon that. Be it good or bad.
My point being if someone is not open for discussion then just leave it, why bother, you are only wasting your time and creating more negative energy.
Why waste your time being mad about something when you can be happy and careless.. life is short, live it to the fullest.
tl;dr: make love not war.
well spoken :)
still remember 2006 ec semi final, when butchji's PC was broken and he was just fixing it and we were forced to start the match without him and got a merc.
even tosspot was begging team ND to postpone the match, but they didnt agree... that was unfair!
first map got lost ofc... 2nd map butchji was back and we rolled them, 3rd map lottonest = no comment ...
would have won that too, pretty sure :)
good old times ;D
greetz to acozz, that was pretty lame back then.
plus Lun4tiC raped in the first map, aimed better than butchji did when he showed up!
also avi for OC premier backup spot!
