ET server/pub after ~1 year

Going to start playing ET again but I'm a bit confused...

what do i need to set up my own private server these days? SLAC/PB? slac right...? if so, how do i set this up? is there a tutorial somewhere? i couldn't find one.

and what are some good ETpro publics? my server browser list doesn't work.

i remember these server and they had like 5 of 'em and they were pretty fun.

if u want to play on a public and have some "serious" opponents and no "noobs" then these server are one of the best i think

not everywhere.there are et pro servers like hbc who runs an auto mute system,every time some prick says "fuck you noob" he gets a moment of silence.fuck yeaa!

+1.and most of all ,slac add on is only made to prevent hackers to return after they are banned.ppl should use slac on not slac servers as well not only on slac forced ones

they would not.point is that i would know about myself i m honest in front of them.and if they wanna convince themself ,all they have to do is load the slac.why should any1 be concern if i m honest or not,as long as he can t proove to himself or the others that he is.

i get what youre getting at but not a lot of people actually care on public if you are using slac or not is what my point was, ive been accused the same amount with or without it on public aaand in wars, im not exactly the greatest of players im just another pub hero with "decent" aim but if using slac doesnt proove to them nothing does

if they not convinced when u are on slac they are idiots,so u should not care about them.but there is also the other category of ppl who can believe u if they see u on slac.i speak for the second category.so if u want win this ,put slac and play with second category of people.
