check on your internet

so some cunt's downloading in this studenthouse and sucking the internet dry, and we're all (after a year of shit internet) really wondering who it is...

any way to check on the computers in your network which one it is?

Wireshark will allow you to see all the packets going in and out of your network, if it's wired. If it's wireless it's actually pretty hard to do without hardware (I believe). Not sure how it's all setup, but if you've got access to the router you might find they have some sort of measuring software.

I'd go to the server admin and ask him to check who it is then get his connection throttled
