(Estonia - Slovenia) - IIHF World Championship Div.1, April 2001

...i can't forget how we owned Estonians back in 2001 to qualy @ World Championship in first division.. we needed 12 goals ...but we scored AMAZING 16 GOALS!

Just read about 'estonian' ice-hockey.
Some of the estonian "better" teams play at finlands 2nd division or something .
Dno if there are any actual estonian leagues out there.

that is such a fail statement. yes there are people in estonia that actually are 'interested' in ice hockey, but the percentage is far from being 50%. + ice hockey really seems to be a rather russian orientated activity here.

Watching ice-hockey?
Ice-hockey is anything but popular here in Estonia.
We dont have any games up live on television, nothing about ice-hockey.
Sometimes there might be a news item about it, but as I said, the best team in Estonia can compete (at their very best) only with finnish 2nd division teams.
Think there is like 300 ice-hockey fans MAX (including team members) in Estonia.

Ice-hockey fans overall number might be a bit bigger, but the fans of team-estonia hockey team is below anything decent.
