there is this thing called crack you use in order to check if you can run the game and if you like it or not.

and besides you (possible) hardware issues: homefront is not at all a game you want to "waste" your money on. not even the SP is playworthy with is less than can be said about most of the recent releases, especially with it being hyped that much before.
