Past 3 days has been really good weatherwise, here where I live its been a stable +17 degrees all day every day. Today it's been even hotter, probably because theres no blowing wind. That means I can wear only my t-shirt and show everyone my biceps. ;-)

Speaking of biceps, going to the gym soon, light deadlifts and assistance work. Im going to attend my first powerlifting-competition at August :o Will be a great opportunity to embarrass myself!

I'm naked for nearly 3 whole days already, should study but its nearly impossible to concentrate for more than 10 minutes in that heat-.-
Im afraid of the real heat waves because this temperature already forces me to be on boxers-only.

And my boxers are glued into my ass-crack :/

Well I did 180 x 1 on deadlift week ago. I havent maxed out on bench and squat in a loooong time, although I did an easy 90kg x 1 in bench after 4 work sets, with a narrow grip. So I guess 95-100kg would be realistic.

nice! I advice you not to try maxes too often, once in 2-3 months is enough. Its more important to do basic work on a bit higher rep-range.

i bench since june 2010, deadlift since august 2010 and squat since november 2010 and i train with brain since december :D
i could laugh and cry how stupid i was few month ago but now i try to train like powerlifters

Remember to take light days. 3 weeks heavy, progressive lifting and then 1 week light deloading -training, just breaking a little sweat.

I know its hard to keep light weeks but they are really important.

my system:
monday: deadlift 5sets5reps; benchpress 5sets5reps; boardpress 3sets5reps; rack chins 5sets5reps; assistance work

wednesday: squats 5sets5reps; military press 5sets5reps, barbell rows 5sets5reps; assistance work

friday: SPEED day benchpress light weight and explosive 8sets 3 reps
boxsquats light weight and explosive 8 sets 3 reps

Sounds good to me :) Remember to change the rep-range sometimes, so your central nervous system doesnt get used to it. This is how I do:

Week 1-3: 5x5
Deload
Week 4-6: 6x4
Deload
Week 7-9: 8x3


Only assistance exercise I do is rack deadlifts and narrow grip bench press.

i do abdominal exercise, rotator cuff exercise (really important!!!) and something for my retral shoulder to avoid a disbalance between my chest and the upper back/retral shoulder

Yeah I do that stuff also, just didnt count them as assistance exercise. In my opinion especially shoulder exercises are important, you need strong shoulders to be able to handle big weights in bench - without injuring yourself. Same with ab-exercises and deadlifts... strong stomach helps that your lower back doesnt arch - possibly bulging a disc out of your spine.

was in nl 2 weeks ago,17 degrees and the beach was full of people on den haag,so i guess you cant stand the heat as good as we do idd

there is a difference in heat while in spain and in NL, I guess its the humidity but when I was in tunis (43 degrees) was hot but nothing bad, when its 30 degrees in NL its just such a shit feeling and I'd prefer to be in a coma during those kind of days :X
