pc problem help?

Okay so I have a question just to see if anyone down here can help me ,

So my old pc isn't working since

When I start it always gives this long "alarm sound" and start normally till my screen says "Signal not detected" and screen shuts but pc runs smoothly(without mentioining that alarm sound at start) It does this everytime I start pc / secure my wires , my MONITOR IS FINE (TESTED)

So if anyone could help me I'd appriciate it alot.

Reseat your memory. If you count beeps, and such.. then look up the motherboard you will find out the problem... normally memory, graphics card or CPU.

It's really old pc , like 5-6 years , I've never ever even opened it except 2 times when it was repaired. But without those 2 times I've never even looked into it , so perhaps it's time to check it closely?

Motherboards beep when there is a problem with the hardware. It has to go through tests called POST (power on self test). If a problem is found it will beep. The motherboard manual will contain the beeps. Generally most motherboards by the same manufacture will have the same beeps.

clean the fan from ur cpu and gpu. put off ur cpu and put some new heat transfer paste on it and then the fan on it again.
