fragmovie stuff

just wondering what to do with frags where the fragger is fakenicking, should I keep the popups? I mean, I was thinking of only putting the popups in the center of the screen and removing the ones from the corner. do you prefer to see those corner popups even if the fragger is aliasing or would you just prefer popups in the center of the screen?

e: this is a movie of tagged opponents only and stuff, not like my previous movies of only faking irc wars =d

even with a fake name and stuff? :d maybe it's just me who always hated seeing fakenickers outside of frapsmovies.

By using uv movie mod, you can edit nicknames and yes... popups in corner for sure.

You should use the same style for the whole movie. If any of those fakenicked frags include spam frags, where seeing the kill-list is crucial, you should just show your fakenick. Alternatively, you could "cut" them a bit, and use popups something like:

*skull* *weapon icon* *player name*
or
Killed *player name* with *weapon name*

from me it's mostly 3on3 frags so no spam, but it's a duo movie and the other guy has a 3man nade and stuff so yeah I guess I need to add popups for that. there are some frags from officials / onedaycups where I have some sort of tag but mostly they are retarded tags like most tourney.cc clannames, so I was thinking of doing it like this if anything at all:

Even better if you can chance your fakenick into "Artstar" or something, so you don't need to add any icons showing which player is playing when they can just see for the name themselves (seen it in a couple of movies and liked it more, makes the watching more "smooth" when you don't have to see the playername "icon" changing in bottom left corner or somth).

yeah, seen the crod movie and it didn't bother me that he had the "same" name on all the frags. Also the more I think of it, you could change all your names to Artstar instead of some tagged ones, would make the overall flow a bit better.

probably better since only in like 6-7 of my frags (of the 20 or so I'm using) am I using a tag :P

depends if you use photoshop to add popups, just fill in the correct name.

if ur not i have no idea whether yo ucan change it or not, but i rather always have popups

and i also liked how kamz did it, adding the realnick between () after the fakenick
