Tr3bs project to port the renderer he made for Xreal (which is everything you ppl think of as Xreal) is finished. You "could" play ET with quite nice graphics (cod4 or alike) IF there were maps, models & animations for it. Right now it looks just like ET but has better FPS, more hardware support (imo) and no mods like etpro and such.
That said the engine for the game is there, just the new game is missing. The project has not "died again", as it has not died once before, and could more likely be seen as finished.
There is another project basing on Tr3bs, which named just the other way round (dont know which one is ET:Xreal and which one is Xreal:ET), but as far as I know that has not done anything major/proper yet.
And is anyone willing to 'compile' or whatever needed to see ET running on Xreal? And anyone who could make those new maps including models n stuff? Just asking, would be awesome.
raise fundings and hire group of talented people from various areas of developement to work under project manager chosen from the community itself that has some sense of what should be done and how it should be done
