downloading pk3

I noticed many et players,including some players with good stats,well known as having

a nice skill and so,have a small problem:they don t know why or how to download a

pk3 for example a map when they connect to server.Well,i hope this will help:



So basically,u want to connect to server,but u get a message like:Could not load

pk3,important pk3 missing bla bla bla

what u have to do is just press escape go to options,than game,than downloads,and

put yes on all three lines,just like in the picture,after this type in console /reconnect.

" Before you connect to the server you must make two adjustments to download the maps. From the main Enemy Territory menu, select the "Mods" button and select and load "ETPro" mod. Once loaded type the following commands:
/set cl_allowDownload 1 (in caps looks like /set CL_ALLOWDOWNLOAD 1)
/set cl_wwwdownload 1 (in caps looks like /set CL_WWWDOWNLOAD 1)

The cl_allowDownload allows your Enemy Territory game client to download map and other .pk3 files from any server you connect to. The default mode the client uses is to download through the game, which is bandwidth limited. The cl_wwwdownload tells your game client to use the http port (80) and connect to a regular web server so that you can download very quickly. The game server supplies your game client with the http download address. "

Well rather than writing those 2 lines in console every time,because the config

most of the ppl are using,is blocking the downloads,is more easy with a click of

mouse i think :)
