Why would it be? It probably isn't the most romantic way to die but it sure helps the family pay for the funeral. We see people being shot in the head every day in the news so at least he somehow made it into a serious documentary.
Considering that euthansia itself is illegal in most countries I don't see that happen anytime soon. But then again, it would be the perfect opportunity to prove the patients' willingness to die.
Instead of demonizing real death of these old people on screen, news agencies should refrain from showing people that din't actually want to die and were shot or in an accident. These people never agreed to be on film unlike this old man.
