Any Bikers at crossfire?

Yo, I recently finished my motorbike license.
Was wondering if any of you guys got one too and if so, what are you riding?
Still not sure what to get, but will spend around 2500€ for my first bike i think.
I am pretty sure i want a naked bike tho.

Maybe Suzuki Bandit or SV650.

next year probably
yours? pretty nice idd. found a hornet, that model in black for 3400€. bit too much for me i guess but really nice :)))
Parent
yeah its mine :) but now that i see your budget hornets might be a bit too pricy for you.. maybe a 500cc like suzuki gs/kawasaki er-5? isnt sv650 pretty surely out of range if you can afford 2500€ only? atleast all not-raped sv650s

suzuki gs500e ye, thought about it. could get one for around 1000 / 1500€ but i think i'd like to start a little higher. the er-5 looks like a copy of the bandit ^^ will have a look at that. and well sv650 is doable for 2500€ at least the older models, the ones before 2003.

i could pay more, but i just dont want to for my first.

you're getting your very first bike? i wouldnt start off with too powerful 600cc, i mean i went 50cc -> 125cc -> 600cc and now that ive ridden hornet for a year i still am kinda afraid if i can handle that power without ending up dead :D thinking about changing to some supermoto. at first i thought going from 50cc -> 600cc CBR RR but now it sounds just suicidal

there are 250s but they get small pretty fast, 500s are nice to learn with, just like power-restricted 600s. iirc sv650 isnt too powerful though so it might be a decent pick if it's good otherwise, just dont get RR-bikes or anything like +70kW it's just too much for a start ;d

your budget on the other hand looks more suitable for buying a 125 rather than 600.. you might get a working bike with 2500€ if you dont mind about its looks too much but i spared like 2000e for protective gear, maintenance, insurance, gasoline etc..

in germany you have to start with 25KW for 2 years, or until you are 25, whatever comes first. after that you can ride as powerful as you like. so the bike would be reduced in its KW anyway. its just the thing that i dont want to buy another bike when i am 25. so i buy a bigger one right now. and i am driving 50ccm for around 3 years now. so its not like i am new to 2 wheel driving ;) made my license with the minimum of 12 lessons. but i know what you mean, made the license on a yamaha virago 535, the jump from 2hp to 34hp is pretty nice ^^.

so i got my gear, already and as i said, i got some more money, i just dont want to spend it. and i found a bandit for around 2500€ but i guess its sold already :< you just have to keep your eyes open and be quick as soon as you see a nice offer. frined of mine got himself a 2006 KTM supermoto for just 2500€ with only 16000km. i hope to get that lucky, too. :p

aw very well, we got somewhat the same in finland :) then surely 600 is a good bike as you are able to extend it later on revealing all the horses! just stay cool, i mean dont make too quick decisions or buy anything without knowing much about it, the first that seems perfect may not be perfect afterall :p for example that bike you linked (i dont know about germanys pricelevel compared to finland) but that seems very cheap and pretty good, but thats extremely rare that you find something very cheap and very good. like that's 14 years old but only 22000 km driven?? the recent owner rode 10000km in 2 years so previous owners rode 1000km/year? suspicious!

but now that i know about power-restrictions and that you have some experience already, i'd buy 600, nothing less, restrict the power for the time needed and after 2 years you would have a new bike without buying anything :p im not sure what's the point in 1000cc anyway, maybe at autobahns once a year?? :F so 600 is enough surely even if you lust some power. atleast hornet is! (75kW)

well bikes are individuals, if the bike is taken care of, ridden in a loving way, all the maintenance is done carefully and consumable parts replaced when needed, 4-stroke bikes last +100000km.. if it's raped individual it might blow up before 30000km. so buying a bike ridden 50000km is always a bit risky and if i planned buying that i would examine bike's history thoroughly. if it's taken care of it should work like a new bike! and if you look at the positive side of owning a older bike the technique is more reliable than these new bikes with so much computers and electronics.. therefore easier and cheaper to repair also

bought that one. runs like a charm. friend of mine drove it home to me, since it aint power reduced yet. will do that monday. was at a bike shop already, they told me i did everything right and that it is a great bike for starters ect. i am totally happy :DDDD

payed 1550€ for it and will pay like 240€ for the power reduction + a little more for a check up btw.

sounds and looks like an awesome deal tbh, if it's treated well it'll be a good purchase! and personally i prefer 4cyl > * and mostly because its sound, atleast with aftermarket exhaust. safe riding :)

nop

i dream about hitting a biker with a suv though
i prefer, but A1 only, 125ccm (Aprilia rs 125 extrema, 41ps :p)
buy suzuki turbo hayabusa!
No cos I don't have the money for the bike itself. Would like to have a 550 Sm though.
Was thinking of getting my license but cba right now.
Have few fun bikes for mountains, kx60 and a stomp pit bike.
