United Kingdommsh100 decided to sponsor me a bouncer so my problem is solved. My fangirls & fanboys will be able to let me some private messages by querying Francis on irc since I finally managed to get this nickname back.

Yeah indeed it is horrible, english dialect is rather interesting though because of the sheer amount of variation and quantity of stupid sayings. :D

True, but culture in some countries dictate different protocol when interacting with strangers

I'd say it's more common to be friendly to strangers in places like Germany than UK/USA

Definitely the less western you get, the more friendly you get also

Western humanity is in a sad state of perpetual paranoia :(
