L.A. Noire really?

Was just looking at a review of it.. and first of all the graphics don't look that amazing at all.. supposed to be the most realistic ever?

This is a PS3/XBOX only release too.

And it costs stupid money £44.99 RRP for "Through 21 missions lasting upwards of 15 hours gameplay..."

15 Hours? Would any of you pay that amount of money for 15 hours worth of
'game' ?

What I replied to him, £40 quid for a game with some nice facial expressions and 15 hours game-play is a bit of a rip :x

What caps said. The facial animations are amazing and integral to gameplay.

£40 is a rip-off for a single player only game with <25 hours gameplay but such is the state of the market.

I got the game this morning and I sunk about 4 hours into it today and I must say that I'm loving it ... too bad I make a shit detective.

Like I said above I just don't think it's worth spending £40 on a game just to see some nice facial expressions! I don't think it is anyway, they could of waiting with the new tech and made something special!

They obviously gonna release a lot of extra stuff, like they did on GTA 4, if your PC is good enough wait for the release and download the extra stuff "for free"

Yeah last game I bought was Red Dead Redemption and that was €50 but least it had an MP even if it wasnt the great. Next game ill buy will be DiRT3 on pc me thinks :x

2. if u wanna QQ about graphics, maybe you should learn to make games urself & realize that is very hard to make smthin look rly rly realistic & still make it possible to run on an average computer

no, was studying programming, folded. that's why I think that if you are not able to be as good as you should to 'be pro' in programming, just give up and try something else. 90% of all programmers are just high ego bitches without any proper knowledge.

gaming companies have very high standards & the graphics you see here are from ppl that do know what they are doin & they did a very nice job

I agree with you and I wasn't talking particularly about Rockstar or any other top company known for making good games, but over all there are just a few such companies and a lot of clearly bad, which still try to sell us stuff not worth a single penny.

It's a console only release so far. If you had of read the review you have read about the graphics they were saying they were most realistic ever.. I'm never really that bothered about graphics anyway.

1) it was made for XBOX so the gfx simply cant be that good... its a quite ancient piece of hardware

2)Fable 3 was supposed to be 20h long and granted it is shorter than witcher 2 but still longer than 20 hours if you aint simply rushing through the mainstory.
