Why? Instead of throwing a chair at the teacher you could have asked him why he is telling this stuff (let it be true or not) .. But I guess he was telling the truth and that is why you got so pissed off, the smart way would have been just to pretend that he's talking bullshit but now everyone knows who was right. So apparently you did more damage to the reputation of your family than your teacher did.

After few years trying to teach kids most teachers get psychologic issues. If you feel like one of your teacher is disrespecting you, not doing his/her job properly you should report them to the school supervisor.
Because of your violent reaction this teacher won't get in trouble for disrespecting your familly.

My advise for tomorrow :
- try to look nice and behave good, because first impression is important.
- Don't over react if something/someone is annoying you. Most of the time ignoring works pretty well.
- Sit in front of the class, be focus on the course.
