lag with utorrent

I have this problem, when I'm downloading with utorrent, my pc laggs like hell and I can't even listen to the music. I have this problem when I'm downloading to other winchester, not my primary( or how its called).

its probably the fault of the winchester, cuz it just started 3 weeks ago or so
