this is frustrating

Like every morning i was watching "little prairy house" on the Germany channel "Kabel 1"
then suddenly i got an error of: "No Signal" . i thought uhw this happened before gonna get back in few seconds, BUT for 1 hour i can't get Kabel 1 back to work. i reinstalled the channels like 100 times and i only get shit like VIVA and Super RTL BUT NO FUCKING KABEL 1 AND PRO 7....
i even moved my antenna to different positions and nothing helps!!!

You know that Estonia uses only Digital TV :D?

Or the fact that Estonia has WiFi everywhere and the you will get mobile service everywhere you go.

You cant say that about Germany. Finding WiFi in Germany is like looking for Waki's forehead hair, it just isnt there.

Did you know that Estonia's total area is 45.226 km² and German is 357.104,071 km² ? which makes building the infrastructure at least 10 times more expensive?

Or the fact that German GDP - per capita is 40k and Estonia's is 14k which means every German can afford to pay 5€ a month for Internet on his own cellphone.

Or the fact that Estonia has 900Km of E-roads while Germany has 13.000km, which means that on each 1.000 km² in Estonia there is only 19.5km of highway and in Germany 36.4km

And Germany's budget is at least 10 larger than Estonian.

Doesnt make sense like that, does it?
Parent
How not? The area is 8 times bigger, count that and add that the labour is at least 4 times more costly. I don't understand why a country would invest in such garbage as the TV is, unless the government wants to have their people manipulated in Full HD.
Parent
The Government doesnt invest in TVs or WiFi-s :D:D. The companies do :D:D
Parent
No, not really, public companies are the government which on the other side is.. your money. If it ain't a public company, your government grants a big part of the total costs.
Parent
Private companies run the TV channels here. There's only 2 public company channels.

Telekom owns pretty much every single telephone/DSL cable there is in Germany. Most of the phone lines are still from times when Telekom was state-owned until 1995. They are, to my knowledge, still heavily subsidised by the government so technically, the government is responsible for these things.
Parent
In Germany perhaps. That's why they wont have such things fast enough, because the government is slow.
Parent
May I mention that Germany turned off their analog TV stations a year prior to Estonia, and introduced the first DVB station 3 years prior?
Parent
Good for them
Parent
So all your points are invalid. Shit country is still shit.
Parent
finding WiFi in Germany is still pointless.
Parent
I have 3G, I don't care.
Parent
So does most of Estonians including myself.
Parent
Why would you need WiFi then?
Parent
better connection?
Parent
Lol, you still dont have Digital TV @ Germany :D?
He runs DVB, that is Digital Video Broadcasting, he is either using DVB-S (satellite) or DVB-T (terrestrial), which is a Digal TV.

kuule seal oli ammu digitv aastad enne , mõtle nati .....
Parent
Sa vist tõesti ei tea, kui maha jäänud Euroopa on elektroonika osas, mida rahvas saab kasutada väga odavalt :D?
Parent
