so im staying at matias place in helsinki and 2 'finnish phenomenons' will always be remembered:

1. all bars and clubs close at 3.30 am, by law >:/
2. witnesses of jehova really think its ok to knock at peoples houses to spread their shit. they even showed up with a little brainwashed kid. WAT

be prepared

ps: tomorrow we will go to tallinn for the night. anyone around who wants to show us around?

The witness of jehova description fits the portuguese one :D although it used to be worst, nowadays i only see them at streets giving papers <.<
About the bars or clubs.. lol... now i understand the "back from the club journals at 2am" :DDDDD (at portugal pubs open at..24 or 1 am, till 7 am or something!)

when I was in Albufeira they opened around 9 and closed around 4:30/5:00

some were open till 6 of 7 tho

when i was in albufeira we went to the 'kiss' and we were there around 1 and it was almost empty.. then i asked the girl behind the bar WTF nothing to do here tonight??:(( then she said oh ye there is you are just early.. at around 2/3 people came in and doors closed at 7 :P

Don't clubs shut at like 5AM in .de?

It's 3.30 here too most of the time, though there are bars that open till 6AM

would make way more sense to keep bars open till 6am since when people re forced to leave bars/clubs at 3:30 theyre gonna be pretty noisy for sure... but at 6am noone really cares about that anymore...

here in vienna bars also close at 4 :/ but its planned to be extended to 6
