High Latency

Hello everyone,
on specific websites (read about 20%) I've got very high latency which is bothering me because noone wants to suffer from lagging all the time. I have checked google already to find out what might causes the problem. But here I am with little knowledge about latency/ping etc. I have already ran ping in commandprompt and for example when I type: "ping www.crossfire.nu" my minimum is 11 ms, maximum 75 ms and average 44 ms. On the other hand when I type: "ping www.solomid.net" minimum is 170 ms, maximum 262 ms and average 203 ms. I really hope someone can help me out!
