ps3 yellow light of death

my dog pissed on my ps3 , fucking hate him...and now my ps3 wont work..at first it wouldnt turn on at all anymore,so i opened it,cleaned all the piss out blabla,now when i turn it on the light turns from red to green then it goes yellow and then red ( blinking )

any ideas what else i could do? :D

the dog pee made it yellow, so what i guess you have to do now, is find something green to pour over it.

I'm sure it will help.

I know your pain, got the 3 red lights today on my xbox. Not played on it in months though, and will get it fixed eventually...

I got the YLOD and decided to take it on myself to try and fix the problem g5 style... suffice to say nothing i did got it to work...

Then i gave it to JMZ who put it in the oven for 20 minutes on full whack and now it works perfectly again :D

I don't know if it will solve your PS3's problem but this sometimes is something you can do to make video cards start working again/work better, but hell it cant hurt just don't melt it lol

The melting is kinda the point there, 200C for about 10minutes. I mixes the cold-connections(weldings) which may have been cracked little bit.

Few friends have tried this, quite recently even, worked for both. Though it is kind of a fast-fix and won't necessarily last so long.

I meant the bonehead obvious of don't put any component in that will melt like melt off the device, ie. remove all the plastic and shit -.-
