pc cleanup

I would like to clean my pc up from all spam etc and especially unnecessary running tasks and perhaps a virus check online or something??

Anyone has some helpful links to some really good programs for this?

is that for registry etc cleanup only? or does it also scan for virusses?

Typical disc-cleaning program, deleting some spyware shizzle, registry too. For virusses scan etc. try IOBit stuff.

Go on service and check the "Hide all microsoft services" and then you can disable lot of useless things. You can also choose what program you want on startup.

ok.. right now i have like 15x svchost running and a total of like 50 processes running overall :s is any of that normal?

run -> msconfig = you can costumize your startup, which programs to start/not start
ccleaner
ccleaner -> cleans cookies, registries, so basicly useless shit (i run it once in a week and it deletes me about 500mb of trash)
defraggler = defragging your hdd, i run it once a moth
kaspersky = internet security (firewall/antivirus)

takes 2minutes to reset :)

if you "tick" the boxes next to the process entry'S , dey wont come up next boot .. for me its the best to check for unwanted threats like toolbars,updaters w/E
