playing et now

so after like, ages not playing, i installed et on a friends computer and updated to 2.60 and unzipped a 2.60b thingie that had an ET.exe in it
when trying to play some servers started whining about incorrect ET.exe while others didnt
so what does it take to play et nowadays?

`do it in the right order
first 2.60a
then 2.60 b

and i guess if so some servers just use 2.60a

yeh think so, + remove your old shortcut from desktop, and alter the new one with the fs_startup etpro cmd in it, or just choose etpro in "mods" from etmain out..
