I would get a dell xps15 with 1920x1080 (1080P) screen it's €200 euro extra but worth it imo :)

XPS laptops also have JBL speakers which are pretty good. I think it's worth considering :)

@edit: i could invite you for torrentleech & bitsoup & bitfactory (german tracker)
@edit2: if you want a desktop replacement i would go for a laptop with 2 hdd´s (one SSD for windows & programs, other slot is a HDD for data and games)

also a higher resolution maybe?
also 6gb+ ram if you do alot of things at the same time (i have 2 monitors with not that much stuff running actually but still 3,5 gb ram usage)

SSD is that really useful atm? You really feel a difference if you just do the usual stuff (movies, gaming, browsing etc) compared with the usual HDD ?

ye its a huge performance boost :o

my windows 7 was booting twice as fast and program start way faster. Just check ssd/hdd comparisons on youtube :)

i dont often say that but when it comes to laptops its actually worth considering a mac or a xps.
also i think that 1 usb port doesnt do the trick

mac´s are overpriced in my opinion.. but yes xps ones are nice.. however there are alot of other nice laptops (asus g-series if you dont mind a bit of a "gamer" look).

but macs have qualities that you can not rly put a price on.
for example i hate that laptops are always so extremly hot and macs dont rly.
also they are quite powerful and have a rather long batterylife.
usually you gotta chose between shitty cpus (like atoms) for duration or i3/5/7s for power.
in a mac you got both.
you know stuff like that

cause its quite subjective and not as easy to compare as technical specs from e.g. a CPU.

battery life can be compared objectively, for example how many cells it has.

heating cant be compared that well, okay, but it can still by objectively reviewed by measuring the temperature of different parts of the laptop.
