Headset problems!

Just installed new sound card (icemat one) but drivers takes my left ear as right and vice versa. It's unplayable - all explosions and stuff which happens in front of me sounds like they would be right behind me (confusing). Any1 know how to fix it?

wear your headset the other way around if your mic can turn 360°. otherwise, install drivers and reverse sound

already reversed sound, but that means I have to be using XEAR 3d (which is for speakers) instead of basic headset settings.

I have a headset problem. Whenever I play ET i hear 'ding ding ding' all the time.
