well russia @ 1993, it can be true, in 1991 the soviet union collapsed and the mob really did rule russia

But why would they even consider going to Russia in year 93. The dumbest idea ever. And isn't hiring mafia a bit too expensive? And why would mafia waste time and people on some random group of students, unless it's just a random bored small mob. Not enough details.
