lyrics are important but my point is that arctic monkeys may have amazing lyrics but they lost their amazing guitarwork, energetic riffs, melodies etc..

that's atleast my opinion

I think a truly great (not just good, AMAZING) song needs amazing lyrics

But ofcourse, shit music with great lyrics is still shit, and a nice music with shit lyrics can be good, but never great
