open start -> cmd and enter "ping update.chaplja.net" -- which IP does it resolve to?

Maybe your DNS didn't update yet, try "ipconfig /flushdns" and if it doesn't work, you can add this to the hosts file:

62.75.145.180 update.chaplja.net

EDIT: was wrong IP!

thanks. ill try that when i get home. if it doesnt work ill format my C drive.i think this has to do with me having a virus on my pc..

P.S. I just edited the post, gave wrong IP for the hosts file! It should be 62.75.145.180 -- if you modified the hosts file, do it again and put that IP because what I first posted was the old one which will go offline within a few days.
