Single Player RPG's

I'm looking for some sprpg's, don't care how old they are or what camera-angle they use, they just need to be good and interesting to play for a longer period of time.

I've already played DII & Fable.

get a psx emu and play:

BoF III .... the dragon transformation system and story was just fun and the steampunkish theme

Valkyries Profile: Fast paced unique rpg

else the older fallouts got a deep athmosphere , vampires aswell

actually anything in my list is fun or awesome and prolly on the top list of the best rpgs of all time

gothic 2&3(with community patch applied) are pretty good too imo
so is spellforce 2, dunno if the 2nd add-on was released already though

fable is kinda nice too, but not much of a challange
and, if you name diablo as an rpg silverfall could be added too (though it's a bit of a strange game, will have to give it a try to decide if you like it or not)

well, when it comes to the rpg element fallout tactics wasn't much, give you that, but it's a great game none the less, awefully challlanging that is :P

Have a look at gog.com, there are some awesome RPGs available there.

As for single player games overall, I'd recommend you play through the Thief serie.

Arcanum - original for sure :p might be a bit too weird for you
Temple of Elemental Evil - really harcore rpg :p was too rpg for me but you might like it
Drakensang - really cool one, worth at least trying
Sacred - just a hack&slash rpg :p
Titan Quest - really liked it, Diablo-like rpg with some nice ideas :)

Btw Krein, I'm not sure if it was you or some other polish guy, but was it you that once recommended me "The Wheel of Time"? Because if so, <3<3, most epic series of books ever, been hooked to it for weeks now ( currently about to start in the 4th book )

might have been me, read it for sure :) Its quite nice but I still prefer other series. Right now I'm finishing 5th tome of Game of Thrones, really amazing. Also waiting on Adrian Tchaikovsky's Shadows of the Apt series books. You might also want to check The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks (not a positive book tho). :p

Fallout 3 is terribad, dont touch it. Just started a new run on Fallout NV with the 2 new DLC's, awesome game is awesome

Sorry, but fallout 3 got a real great replay value and new vegas is one of the most boring games i've ever tried, not original at all, not challanging what so ever...imo -.-
