WTf season finale was that :D

Just amazing. Although i have never read the books I think that the dragons will own those Lannister's and help defeat the "things" on the other side of the wall.

And for people who dont watch it, I think you should give 1 or 2 episodes a try and then decide. Trailer wasnt appealing to me as well

well, the final was kinda decent but i expected something better. It is a great serie but it was way too short, we needed more 10 episodes atleast... it feels like they just cut it :|

This was the first book, and they allready agreed to do the second book too.
So at least 10 more episodes and if the keep up the quality they might go for the whole "A Song of Ice and Fire" Books

The first season was supposed to follow the events of the first book, and that's exactly what it did... there wasn't anything more to add.

There were SO many significant events that happened in this finale, Tyrion becoming hand of the king, Robb Stark becoming the third King in the war, Arya + Robert's Bastard heading to the wall with Yoren, Nights Watch going north with an army, birth of the world's only dragons... It's building towards massive events in the future on all fronts. It's actually the closest I've seen a TV show do books justice, it's a nice change of pace, and I sure as fuck hope it continues.

Haven't read the books, but that episode was so full of new beginnings and settings!

Besides the story has been developing so fast on other episodes too, compared to "normal" series. But that's the HBO-style, and I so like it compared to normal filler-shit.

I read that they dont want to mess up the quality of the show by making more episodes. Season 2 will also have 10-13 episodes if i remember correctly.

Yep really was an amazing episode - you really could make 3 or 4 great series out of all the plotlines. Are the books worth buying?

There are so many subtle intricacies that are so key to the story, like you said above they aren't jeopardizing the quality by adding filler, making every line and scene count. Earlier in the series I would find myself asking "Why the fuck did they show us this?" but I think it does all come together.

For example I was rewatching the first few with a friend, and I noticed in episode 2 that the Queen told a story to Catelyn Stark about her first born black haired son whom she lost to a fever (much like John Aryn...) which I never really noticed the first time, but now the implications after conspiracy are huge, the idea that she may have killed her own son because he wasn't Jaime's...

I think any avid readers will love this series, whereas some less patient folk will probably grow bored with it.

Can't wait.

I want to know what's with the dogs. I know they are the house symbols and so on, but there will be more do it I think :D

Dno but wolves vs dragons lol :D:D

Although I find Jamie's and the Queens romance deeply disturbing :D At first I was wtf, why did they have sex, what the hell is going on :D. But she explained later on.

There are some people known as Skinchangers who have the ability to share conscience with some animals, some of the current generation of Stark children have the ability to do this, originally just being able to see what their wolf is doing, but Bran gets the capability of even instructing/controling his wolf.

oh, you made me realize about the baby killing part as well. I guess she killed the baby for the bloodlines/Lannister power :D

But it doesnt matter, i think that the Khaalisi or the Northmen or the Whitewalkers will own them :D

Dragons and Nightwalkers(or what ever they are called) makes me wanna see season 2 also.
But Falling skies season premiere was better than game of thrones finale :p
